Delivering inspirational message as Head Pastor of Christian Family Church International, Mauritius, we at James Arekion Ministries International have expanded and extended to impact this generation through various global outreach.

We are releasing a new video program in Creole our native language entitled "Et tout devient possible", that will be posted on social website weekly offering encouragement, discipline and direction from the Word in order to achieve the dream of our life.

We will also post an Word of the Week in English: "Let's have T" meaning dedicating Time in the Word, Thoughts from the Word and developing Tenacity in Life.

Furthermore, we will host teaching seminar in Mauritius, so that knowledge will increase, faith developed and people winning in life.

We have registered more NGOs to help the local people via soup distribution.

We offer one on one counselling.

And lastly, we will plant at least two more churches in 2012.

Ministry is about people. God has sent us out in Mauritius to preach the "Good News" and bondages are being broken, demons are being cast out, the sick are being healed, and the bruised and wounded people are being restored and becoming tree of righteousness (Isaiah 61:1-3).

Love was given in the person of Jesus Christ. An everlasting gift! A demonstration of God's grace.
Christmas have definitely become very commercialized but so too are the other Christian celebration such as Easter. We need to be focus on the biblical reasons. We needed a saviour and he was sent to us. He probably wasn't born in December, but he was born!
Let's celebrate God's greatest gift. I will definitely be going to church to praise and honour Him like every Sunday and then be a blessing to people. I will have dinner with family as we commemorate His birth. I will also share the holy communion with our congregation as well as with family members.
I pray that you and your family have a blessed Christmas.

Overloaded?

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

An airplane can only carry a certain amount of weight. Overloading the plane can cause serious problem and may even result in a disaster. Like a plane, we can only carry a certain amount of weight. The bible tells us to lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily weighed down and hinders us from running and winning the race.

Too many people are overloaded. They are overloaded with worry, fear, anger, offense, unforgiveness, discouragement, strife, bad relationships and past sins. They have too much baggage and that is causing them to be ineffective and they are not able to run and soar in life.

Overloaded people fail. They will fail in marriage, ministry, in their family, career and in whatever dreams they have. It is not God's will for us to fail. He wants us to succeed in every area of life. He has provided within His words the power to see us through every circumstances of life.

Release the load that is holding you back and obstructing and delaying you from your destiny. Let go of the past hurts, disappointments and traumas. Stop blaming others and stop living to the expectation of others. Rather get in line with God's word and repent from any sins and be free from everything that is keeping you bound and run friend run till you soar in life like an eagle over all the storms of life.

Every plane must land for check up before taking off again. Check yourself today. Is their any load that is not worth carrying? Let it go!

Take an inventory of your life. Pray for wisdom to recognize what is causing your loss and take the courage to rectify and write off things that are excess baggage. Move beyond your regrets and mistakes. It's time to fly.

"Pride leads to destruction; humility leads to honor."

Power of Love

Love is one thing that can help us survive the storms of life.

Love will sustain us through the most difficult journeys of our life.

Love is powerful, strong and forces every other power to succumb to its feet.

1 John 4:8

⁸ "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (NIV)

Love is a person – God is love.

The Holy Spirit is really the only true source of Holy love (Romans 5:5)

Love is the badge of true Christianity (1 John 4:19-21).

You and I will be judged by the love expressed toward God…and towards others.

If you do not discern true love around you, you will alienate good people and embrace evil people.

If we fail to grow the love nature of the Holy Spirit, we will become a well of anger, a volcano of poison, and a carrier of spiritual cancer… into our home, our job and our church.

Remember that the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness , temperance :against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23).

In this journey of life, disappointment and injustice may be inevitable and offenses cannot be stopped.

But only one weapon is capable of defusing the deadly poison of Satan…the weapon of love.

You can only conquer through understanding the awesome power of Holy Love.

So choose today to walk in love...forget your past!

Satan's limitation

⁴⁴ "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." John 8:44 (NIV)

¹⁴ "And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." 2 Corinthians 11:14 (AMP)

Satan is the father of lies and the master of disguise.
God Himself has put limitation on Satan.

Satan was originally an angel - an anointed cherub . He is a creature and not a creator. He was Lucifer meaning star of the morning but when iniquity was found in him, he was kicked out of heaven and brought the fall of a third of the angels and he became Satan, the prince of darkness. God created Lucifer as one of the highest angel in God’s angelic kingdom. (Scripture reference: Ezekiel 28:12-19; Isaiah 14:12-14: Luke 10:19: )

The lies that Satan wants you to believe such as is:
He is omnipresent
He is omniscient
He is omnipotent
He is none of the above!

He was a created being and has limitations.
He cannot be present everywhere - Rev. 2: 12-13
7 dwelling places of Satan recorded in the bible:
1. Third heaven - Isa. 14: 12-14
2. Garden of Eden - Gen. 3: 1-6
3. Walking the earth - Job 1:7, 2:2
4. 2nd heaven - Eph. 2 :2
5. Cast to the earth - Rev. 12:9
6. Bottomless pit - Rev. 20:1
7. Lake of fire - Rev. 20:10
Footnote: There are three heavens (2 Cor. 12:1-7 and God dwells in the third heaven)

He is not omniscient - all knowing.
If that was the case then why did he tell Herod where baby Jesus was? (Matt. 2:16)

He is not omnipotent - We have been given power and authority over him (Luke 10: 19)

God created Lucifer with limitations.
One of his duty was to lead choir, praise and worship, in the presence of God.
He was created with tambourines, flute and harps.
However, an orchestra is a sizable instrumental ensemble that contains sections of string, brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. Lucifer had the string section (harps), he had the percussion (tambourines) and the woodwind (flutes) but he didn't have the brass (trumpets).

The sound of the trumpet broke the walls of Jericho - Joshua 6:1-7

Its by the sound of the trumpet that the church will be raptured - 1 Cor. 15: 52

You and I as believer need to blow the trumpet of prayer and praise in order to defeat him.

Paul and Silas defeated Python when they begun to praise God and the foundation of the prison was shaken.
Acts 16: 16-34...

"And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house."

Praise elevates us into God’s presence and power

Praise and worship is probably one of the most important aspect of the Christian walk. It is through praise and worship that we draw near to God.

Psalm 100:4 says that we enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise.

Psalms 22 says he that He inhabits the praises of His people.

In the old testament people worshiped at Jerusalem in the temple. When Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well He told her that the hour had come when all worshipers must worship the Father in spirit and in truth and that the Father even sought such worshipers (John 21-24).

With this in mind, we would like to invite you and your family to join us as we lift our voices to praise and worship our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Spirit of Python

From the first book of the bible,Genesis, to the last book known as Revelation, the bible describes Satan, the devil, as Serpent. He was there in the Garden and he will be present waging war in the last days.

"Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. "

Gen.3:1

"And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years."

Rev. 20:2

Jesus Himself referred to Satan, devils and evil spirits as serpents - Luke 10: 17 - 20.

Serpent, a synonym for Snake have fifteen recognized families comprising 456 genera and over 2,900 species.
However, in the book of the Acts of the Apostles, one specific species is mentioned. The Acts of the Apostles was successfully written by Luke the Physician. He could write the book simply because the Apostles acted! They didn't just hear the commandments and instructions of Jesus, but they acted upon the Word. That is what faith is. Faith is to act upon the Word!
We are still living in the dispensation where the Word needs to be believed and acted upon in order to produce.
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were confronted by a specific spirit referred to as Python. Out of all the species of snake, the bible specifically mentions Python.

What is Python?
Pythons are a family of non-venomous snakes. Among its members are some of the largest snakes in the world. Most members of this family are ambush predators, in that they typically remain motionless in a camouflaged position and then strike suddenly at passing prey. They will generally not attack humans unless startled or provoked. Prey is killed by a process known as constriction, then, by applying and maintaining sufficient pressure to prevent it from inhaling, the prey eventually succumbs due to asphyxiation. Death is caused by suffocation, with the victim not being able to move its ribs to breathe while it is being constricted.

Paul and Silas was on the way to pray and was confronted by a woman demon-possessed with a spirit of python.
Prayer is communion and communication with God. This communion maintain the life of God in us. The spirit of Python is after breath. Breath in the bible refers to the life of God (Gen. 2:7, John 20:21-22). The spirit of python wants to choke the life of God out of you. It squeezes and constrict you as a victim. Suddenly, you feel pressured, burdened, discouraged and the life, love, joy and peace of God is slowly being choked out of you.
Now, you don't feel like praising God. You no longer want to pray and spend time with God. Suddenly, you begin to compromise the Words of God...Python is choking the breath of God out of you...

The return of the ancient spirits

“Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.” - Prov.23:12. Dear Friends, Do you know that we are living in the end times? Are you aware that Jesus will return soon? “…Et plusieurs faux prophètes s'élèveront et en séduiront plusieurs: et parce que l'iniquité prévaudra, l'amour de plusieurs sera refroidi.” Mat 24:11-12

Dans ce verset, Jésus Christ révéla l’avènement des derniers jours à ses disciples 2000 ans de cela en disant que l’amour de plusieurs saint se refroidirait.

L’Apôtre Paul donna cet enseignement à Timothée :

« Sache que, dans les derniers jours, il y aura des temps difficiles. Car les hommes seront égoïstes, amis de l'argent, fanfarons, hautains, blasphémateurs, rebelles à leurs parents, ingrats, irréligieux, insensibles, déloyaux, calomniateurs, intempérants, cruels, ennemis des gens de bien, traîtres, emportés, enflés d'orgueil, aimant le plaisir plus que Dieu, ayant l'apparence de la piété, mais reniant ce qui en fait la force. Éloigne-toi de ces hommes-là. Il en est parmi eux qui s'introduisent dans les maisons, et qui captivent des femmes d'un esprit faible et borné, chargées de péchés, agitées par des passions de toute espèce, apprenant toujours et ne pouvant jamais arriver à la connaissance de la vérité. »

2 Timothée 3 :1 - 7

Beaucoup de Chrétiens aujourd’hui ne connaissent même pas les Dix Commandements, mais dans le livre D’Exode, la Bible stipule :

« Tu ne prendras point le nom de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, en vain; car l'Éternel ne laissera point impuni celui qui prendra son nom en vain. »

Exode 20 :7

L’Apôtre Jean lui même nous enseigne d’éprouver tout les esprits pour savoir s’ils sont de Dieu et il confirme également les paroles de Jésus qui dit que beaucoup de faux prophètes viendront pour séduire dans les derniers temps

« Bien-aimés, n'ajoutez pas foi à tout esprit; mais éprouvez les esprits, pour savoir s'ils sont de Dieu, car plusieurs faux prophètes sont venus dans le monde. Reconnaissez à ceci l'Esprit de Dieu: tout esprit qui confesse Jésus Christ venu en chair est de Dieu; et tout esprit qui ne confesse pas Jésus n'est pas de Dieu, c'est celui de l'antéchrist, dont vous avez appris la venue, et qui maintenant est déjà dans le monde. Vous, petits enfants, vous êtes de Dieu, et vous les avez vaincus, parce que celui qui est en vous est plus grand que celui qui est dans le monde.

Plus que jamais, nous devons apprendre a discerner la volonté de Dieu pour notre vie et ce qu’Il désire vraiment pour nous. »

Nous ne pouvons pas écouter chaque personne qui parle en disant : « Ainsi parle L’Eternel » ou « L’Eternel me dit de te dire » ou « L’Eternel m’a dit ». Il nous faut mesurer et juger chaque parole en accord avec le caractère et la Parole de Dieu.

Why should I go to church?

There are many believers who don't attend church today. They reason that they do not need to attend because they do not see the relevance of church or that they do not have time for church. If our mind and reasoning are above knowledge of the Word of God then we are sinning. Our mind and reasoning should be in line with the Word of God. We are to be obedient to His Word, Principles, Knowledge and Wisdom. When our mind reason against the Word, we are rebelling against God and His Word.

Not going to church continuously is rebelling continuously.

Biblical reasons why I should attend church:

To be like Jesus, to imitate Him

"And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read."

Luke 4:16

Jesus developed a habit of going to church. Our main goal is imitate Christ. His custom was attending church, we need to do the same.

Obeying God's Word and command

"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"

Heb 10:24-26

God who instituted the church has said that we should not neglect the gathering of the saints.To do so is to sin and to be fighting against God. Gamaliel, a doctor of the Law declared that no man can win when they fight against God (Acts5:34-39). If we want to obey God then we must keep his institution.

To be under spiritual authority

The New Testament teaches that every believer is to be under the protection and nurture of the leadership and authority of the local church. These godly people can shepherd the believer by encouraging, admonishing, and teaching. It provides accountability and responsibility. God designed this system of accountability for the progress and protection of His flock. This will not be possible unless we are a part of an organized fellowship which has identified pastors,elders, or leaders. Submission necessitates a commitment and relationship to a local body of believers and to their spiritual leaders. If a believer refuses to be in church and under its authority then the believer is acting like a bastard who has no spiritual parent to correct and instruct him/her.

It is an expression of our love and obedience to God

"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me."
John 14:23-24

If we say that we love Jesus, then we will do what he says. When we go to church, we are saying that we love and obey the Lord's sayings. we submit to his authority.

You and your family need godly influence

Living in a world where good is now considered evil and vice versa, we need to see that there are others who believe like we do. Your family and specially your children need to see that other families and people believe the same Word of God that you believe. This gives them courage to face unbelieving friends and to stand true. It is a fact that children who attends church have higher values than children who do not.

Soulwinning

Soul winning is the responsibility of every believer and not just those called in the five fold ministry.
We are commissioned by Jesus to "…Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).

You don't need a pulpit to win souls; all you need is love.

Jesus said: "If you (really) love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands." John 14:15 (AMP)

We are to love God and to love people.

"I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another. By this shall all (men) know that you are My disciples, if you love one another (if you keep on showing love among yourselves)." Jn 13:34-35 (AMP)

Remember, we are also the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), so let our light shine before all. We should love people too much to miss an opportunity to share the love and witness to those in need of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Here's a simple and effective step to lead people to Christ:
1. They need to recognize and admit that they are a sinner and are in need of a saviour.
2. They need to repent of their sins.
3. They need to pray out loud (confess), believing in their heart, Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.

Here's a straightforward prayer that you can lead them into:

"Lord, I recognize and admit that I am a sinner. I repent from my sins and renounce my old way of life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and He is the saviour that I need. Thank you for saving me today. I am forgiven and am now a child of God. In Jesus name, AMEN"

It is important that you also encourage them to grow spiritually by being baptized in water and receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Help them find a good church full of love and that teaches the uncompromised Word of God. See to it that they are not neglected and help them find new Christian friends.
You can also show your love in sowing a small bible for them to read and study.

To save his life he needed to get across the waters to a safe place. The water was rising and so too was his fear…

He found a rather unsuspecting tortoise and asked if he would give him a lift to cross the waters.

The tortoise knowing the reputation of a poisonous scorpion refused!

But the Scorpion begged the Tortoise to save his life…He confessed that he didn’t know how to swim and needs help to get across.

The Scorpion said: “You swim like a dream, and you have what I lack. Let’s say you take me across on your back?”

The tortoise exclaimed, “Are you joking? You’ll sting me while I’m swimming and I’ll drown.”

“My dear tortoise,” laughed the scorpion, “If I were to sting you, you would drown and I’d go down with you! Now where is the logic in that?”

The tortoise replied: “You’ve a less than ideal reputation preceding:

there’s talk of your victims all poisoned and bleeding.

You’re the scorpion — and how can I say this — but, well,

I just don’t feel safe with you riding my shell.”

The scorpion replied, “What would killing you prove?

We’d both drown, so tell me: how would that behoove

me to basically die at my very own hand

when all I desire is to be on dry land?”

The tortoise considered the scorpion’s defense.

When he gave it some thought, it made perfect sense.

The niggling voice in his mind he ignored,

and he swam to the bank and called out: “Climb aboard!”

But just a few moments from when they set sail,

the scorpion lashed out with his venomous tail.

The tortoise too late understood that he’d blundered

when he felt his flesh stabbed and his carapace sundered.

As they both sank to the bottom, the tortoise, resigned to his fate and as he fought for his life, turned to the scorpion and said, “Do you mind if I ask you something? You said there is no logic in you stinging me. So why did you do it?”

“It has nothing to do with logic,” the drowning scorpion replied. “It’s just my nature!”

Moral: It is in the nature of some to hurt others. Even when you want to be kind to them. So please be careful who you allow in your life.

21Days of Prayer and Fasting - Day 1...

As Daniel fasted and pray, he received:

Heavenly vision with Godly revelation and instructions - Dan. 10:7
He was given spiritual understanding - Dan. 10:11-12
He received spiritual strength - Dan. 10:19
He was shown truth - Dan. 11:2

Daniel received a revelation of the operation of the spiritual realm. Things were shown to him. The future were revealed to him.
We are children of the New Testament and we have received the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit pours the love of God into our hearts (Rom. 5:5) and also reveal us the future (Jn. 16: 13-14).
We have the blood of Jesus - Rev. 12:11

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
(Heb 11:39-40)

Pray for revelation, instructions and spiritual understanding.
Pray for truth to be revealed.
Repent and pray for spiritual strength.
Pray for a fresh outpouring...

Passover meal

In the Old Testament, the Passover was the night of deliverance. Passover in HBW 'Pesach' means protection. The Lord will stand and protect. Many redemptive names of God can be placed here.
The passover is founded upon Blood Covenant!
In Exodus 12, God gave specific instructions and informed the Children of Israel to keep the passover as a memorial and as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations (Exo.12:14).

What manifested the power of deliverance?
The Blood of the lamb!

We need to learn some vital issues and it is my duty to rightly teach you the Word. If the blood of an animal manifested the delivering power of the Lord's hand, how much more will the blood of Jesus perform Salvation, deliverance, healing, favors, blessings, protection for us!

Let's quickly learn two things:
1. The power of the blood manifested God's hand for deliverance - Exo.13:3
2. The purpose of the blood for deliverance was to worship and serve the Lord - Exo.12:31

Many speaks of the blood for deliverance but this is not the end, rather it is the beginning. It is also important to point out that they were to apply the blood by faith on 3 parts of the door.
In the New Testament, Jesus dealt with the sin nature through the blood covenant - Matt. 26: 26-30.

There are 3 things that give access to the devil:
1. Sin
2. Transgression
3. Iniquity

There are also 3 things that causes us to sin:
1. Lust of the flesh
2. Lust of the eyes
3. Pride of life

The blood would provide protection on judgment when applied by faith - Exo.12: 12-13.

Here are some more benefits/blessings that the blood put into motion:

The blood protects against the destroyer. John 10:10 tells us the devil is a destroyer, but he can have no access once we apply the blood by faith.
The blood strengthens. Psalms 105 records this miraculous night and described the children of Israel who were hardworking slaves, yet not one was feeble! (Ps.105:36-37). What a difference between what the Apostle Paul described the church of Corinthians in regards to the Lord's supper. The Lord's supper was celebrated on the night of the passover (Matt. 26:18). As we do this in memorial just as was instructed by the children of Israel, we will receive blessings of the blood covenant. However, Paul described many in the church that takes the Lord's supper unworthily as weak and sickly and many died premature deaths (1 Corinth. 11: 30). Today many believers are like the church at Corinth rather than being like the children of Israel. The devil has successfully deceived believers about Easter and rather than celebrating the Lord Jesus and the power of His blood, many has been blinded by Constantine shrewdness. Constantine changed the name Passover to Easter (although in French, it is still the same name) which is named after the Babylonian goddess Ishtra, a pagan goddess of fertility. Hence the cute bunny and the dyed eggs. That's why many are weak, because we have forgotten the blood covenant and blindly ran after the world way!
The blood gives favor - Exo 12: 36 and provides whatever we need.

Every Christian feast and celebration has been perverted by the devil. I strongly recommend that you and your family sit together at home and spend precious time celebrating King Jesus together by sharing a meal then sing some worship songs and share the Lord's supper.
Apply the blood by faith upon your house and see the power of God manifest in your family.

"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

2 Chronicles 7:14

We are ready to embark on 21 days of prayer and fasting from the 1st to the 21st May 2011.
Fasting helps to develop a deeper relationship with God and enhance spiritual growth.
Through fasting and prayer, the Holy Spirit can transform your life. As we join together, He can transform our lives, families and cities. We desire to be humble people so that we can discern the voice of God and listen to His instruction.
Fasting also develops spiritual strength. Fasting is the most powerful spiritual discipline of all the Christian disciplines.
God has sent us in Port Louis as I sense an apostolic anointing being launched in the ministry. I believe it is time to establish more churches in different areas of Mauritius, Rodrigues and in the Mascarene Islands.
To successfully do this, we need instructions from above, directions and spiritual strength and boldness.
As we pray together, I believe we will grow spiritually and numerically. Corporate prayer and fasting manifest a corporate anointing to destroy yokes and remove burdens.

Which type of fast:

A 21 days of partial fast is described in the book of Daniel. There was a three-week period in which he only abstained from "delicacies," meat, and wine (Daniel 10:3). So, we will abstain from meat, sweets, ice cream and delicacies as well as fizzy drinks.
I strongly advice you to drink plenty of liquids.

Spiritual Preparation:

In preparation for this special time with God, I strongly urge you to examine your heart, and detect any unconfessed sin. Scripture records that God always requires His people to repent of their sins before He will hear their prayers. King David said:
Come and hear, all of you who reverence the Lord, and I will tell you what he did for me: For I cried to him for help, with praises ready on my tongue. He would not have listened if I had not confessed my sins. But he listened! He heard my prayer! He paid attention to it!
Blessed be God who didn't turn away when I was praying, and didn't refuse me his kindness and love. (Psalm 66:16-20)
In your prayers, confess not only obvious sins, but less obvious ones as well. The sins of omission as well as the sins of commission experiences.

Our foundational scripture:

"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest."
Luke 10:2

Confession of faith for a blessed family

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Proverbs 18:21

The tongue is a very powerful instrument that can either manifest blessings from heaven or bring curses including failures into your life.
Your tongue is the best tool to use in order to bring about changes and transformations in your life and circumstances.
Boldly, sincerely and faithfully make the following confessions daily and see the promises of God manifest in your life. You will never be the same again through faith in the Word of God!

Godly Parenting

Boldly declare in faith:

"In the name of Jesus, I declare that as I increase in the knowledge of God, I raise my children according to His will. They walk worthy of the Lord and His calling on their lives. They live lives that are pleasing to Him and are fruitful in every good work. (Colossians 1:9-10).

In the name of Jesus, the favor of God causes my family to increase more and more (Psalm 115:14). In the name of Jesus, I declare that I have the wisdom, ability and strength to raise my children in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Acts 1:8, AMP).

Through the leadership of the Holy Spirit, I will teach and impress the Word of God diligently on their minds and hearts (Deuteronomy 6:7, AMP).

I will live a life before my children that brings glory and honor to God. I cast all my cares concerning my children on God, because He cares for me (1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 55:22).

I am sensitive to the anointing that is on my children (Leviticus 7:36).

In the name of Jesus, I bind the hand of the enemy in any way that he comes to kill, steal or destroy in the lives of my children (Matthew 18:18; John 10:10).

I loose the angels of God to go forth now to guard and protect my children (Psalm 34:7).

For Husbands

Boldly declare in faith:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am a man of God. I am righteous, godly, faithful, loving, patient and meek (1 Timothy 6:11).

I know God's perfect will for my life, and I walk worthy of the Lord and His calling on my life. I please Him, and I am fruitful in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10).

I know that God prospers and provides for me; therefore, I am able to provide for my household (1 Timothy 5:8).

I honor God by honoring my family. I am the head of my home, and I lead it by example with godliness and temperance (Ephesians 5:23; 1 Peter 1:5-6).

I choose to love my wife as Christ loves the church by giving her first place and consideration in all that I do. I avoid anger, bitterness and strife at all costs (Ephesians 5:25; Colossians 3:19).

I give my wife the honor, respect, goodwill and kindness that are due her (1 Corinthians 7:3).

For Wives

Boldly declare in faith:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am a virtuous woman of God. I am a woman of moral excellence and strength (Proverbs 31:17, 25, AMP).

I manage my household with Godly wisdom (1 Corinthians 2:16).

I represent God; therefore, I dress appropriately because I am a godly woman and have self-respect. I maintain a clean and attractive appearance (1 Timothy 2:9).

I submit myself wholly to my husband, for this pleases the Lord (Ephesians 5:22-24).

Proverbs 18:22 says that He who finds a wife finds a good thing. In addition, he obtains favor from God.

Therefore, I declare that I am a benefit, and not a burden, to my husband.
I love, honor and respect my husband and speak well of him to others. I speak kindly to my husband for his edification (Proverbs 31:26).

My husband is faithful to me. He has no need to go elsewhere, because I provide everything he needs and desires (Proverbs 5:18-19).

2 Corinthians 2:14 - Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Confession: I walk in total triumph in every situation, for Jesus has destroyed failure in my life. I am an overcomer and can do all things through Christ. I have the victory and the victory has me! I am a victor and a king! (Phil. 4:13; I John 5:4)

The bible is the Word of God. I believe and have faith in God and His Word.
I am what it says I am,
I have what it says I have,
I can do what it says I can do.

My life is changing for the better.
I am strong...healthy...blessed and wealthy.
I am an overcomer!
Jesus loves me and I love Jesus.

The devil is under my feet. He is a defeated foe.
I overcome him by the blood of the lamb...by the word of my testimony.
I am committed to God. I am a faithful son and servant of God.

BLESSED is he who considers the weak and the poor

Psalm 41:1-4

1. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

2. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

3. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

4. I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

The bible declares that God will bless us when we consider the poor. When we show up with an act of kindness and are compassionate to help and assist the poor, then the Lord God empowers you to prosper. The power of the Lord manifest for those who extends mercy to others.

Lets look at the blessings that these verses declare.

The Lord God will manifest his power to deliver you in time of trouble.

For example: Deliver you from family trouble or debts.

The Lord will preserve you.

This means: The Lord will look after you and no harm will happen to you.

The Lord will keep you alive.

And so: no accidents or death by sickness nor premature deaths.

He shall be blessed upon the earth.

This means: You don't have to wait to get to heaven to enjoy a good successful life. You can live the abundant life right where you are right now!

Thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

And: You will not live according to people's expectation. Those silly gossips and spirit of jealousy will do you no harm!

The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing...

This is what the Amplified Version says: (3) The Lord will sustain, refresh, and strengthen him on his bed of languishing; all his bed You [O Lord] will turn, change, and transform in his illness.

So: no more sickness, pains and sorrows! Healing is yours!

I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

And: When we extend mercy to others, God extends mercy to us.

You are forgiven...all sin, trangressions and iniquities.

Now meditate and activate!

Isn't it interesting that the first question posed in the bible is from the book of Genesis?
What makes it more fascinating is that it was posed by God Himself!
Even more interesting is that He asked the question right after Adam and Eve sinned.
That question was: "Where are you?" - Gen. 3:9
God didn't ask that question because He didn't know where Adam was! God knew where Adam was. Nobody and nothing can be hidden from God. God simply wanted Adam to admit where He was and what He has done.
Adam fell because of disobedience. He was lost much like many of us.

The bible says Jesus came to SEEK and SAVE those who are lost - Luke 19:10

One of the most important question you can ask yourself is: "Where am I in life?" That's the question that can lead to change and to life! It's a question that will lead you to repentance.

Matthew 4:17,19
(17) From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
(19) And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

'Repent' was Jesus' first call or first message under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. It is a universal command.

Some basis of the word 'Repent' means to think differently,to reconsider, to change one's mind.
Repent is something we have to do continuously as we have a mind that is not in line with God's Word and principles. We cannot speak or act right if we have wrong thoughts.
Then Jesus said: "Follow me and i will make you..." For this teaching I didn't add fishers of men.
Jesus can make you into a better person if you will simply follow him.

You may have done what people said you have done, but

YOU ARE NOT WHO PEOPLE SAY YOU ARE!!!

GOD CAN FORGIVE ANY SIN

OR MISTAKE YOU HAVE MADE

You can be used by God in the morning and by the devil in the evening...Remember Peter - Matt. 16: 16-23
Even those who walked with Jesus daily failed. God is not surprised. He knows that man may fall but He also knows how to restore.

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand." (Psa 37:23-24 KJV)

"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."

(Pro 24:16 KJV)

Jesus does not condemn, criticize or destroy...He is willing to forgive.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. "(1Jn 1:9 KJV)

So refuse to be discourage and disheartened. Just as Jesus alerted Peter to his enemy and prayed for Peter...

"And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."

(Luk 22:31-32 KJV)

...Jesus is also interceding for you.

"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." (Heb 7:25 KJV)

So, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and DON'T GIVE ACCESS TO THE DEVIL. That may sound easy, but it comes by discipline and with time.

Have you failed?

King Jesus with open arms of love is waiting for you.

The Blood and the Glory

"For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." (Rom 3:23 ASV)

When God created man in His image and likeness (Gen. 1:26), man was also clothed with God's glory.

"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him but little lower than God, And crownest him with glory and honor. Thou makest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet:" (Psa 8:3-6 ASV)

Man is ranked just under the Godhead - that is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God delegated autority and power to Man to have dominion over His creation. The first book of Genesis speaks of the creation of God on the earth. God crowned us with glory and honour.

The glory of God refers to the manisfested presence of God or the anointing of God. God gave us His ability. However the day that Adam and Eve listened to the serpent and sinned, they fell from glory and honour.

Man sinned and fell short of the glory of God. However, God had a plan to redeem man. God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son (JESUS) to save and restore Man.

Man can rise once again to His former image by believing and receiving Jesus. For as many as receive Him, He gave POWER to become the Sons of God!

Man has been restored through the sacrifice of the Son Jesus Christ.

When Jesus shed His blood on the cross of Calvary, he dealt with sin nature and redeemed Man to his former state of glory and honour.
THEREFORE, THERE IS A CONNECTION BETWEEN THE BLOOD AND GLORY!!!

The Father of Glory (Ephe. 1:17) sent His beloved Son, Jesus the Lord of Glory, to shed His blood and to restore man who was crown with glory to be restored to glory and the devil and his cohorts did not know it for had they known it, they wouldn't have crucified Jesus!

The blood did not only save you and redeem you but the Blood restored you to your original state of creation. The blood gives you POWER TO DOMINATE and DESTROY the works of the devil.

Let's talk about SEX!!!

Here's a subject that considered 'taboo' in the church...yet it is an issue that is important to discuss and to know. Sex is the best seller in advertising and it definately attracts people.

As I drive to my office in Port Louis, on the ourskirt of our Capital City is a billboard advertising a well-known, world renown bank and it has a picture of a very attractive lady with a seducing smile. Advertisers uses sex to sell bank loans and mortgage, automobiles, election candidates, detergents...

Not only is sex on signboards, it is on TV at anytime, specially with satellite TVs. At any given time, you are exposed to sex...no matter what age you are. You can see a naked man and woman at anytime on TV. It use to be at night...late night but not any more. Society has changed and will not teach you the importance of sex as was created by God.
GOD!? Does God say anything about SEX? ... SEX!?!?
The bible states that "My people (Born-Again believers, Christians) perish (deteriorate, weaken, ruin, destroy) because of lack of knowledge. A lack of knowledge on this subject will bring destruction and ruin. Sex has been the cause of broken marriage because vows were not respected. Misuse of sex will cause us to use and abuse!!!
So what does God and His Word say about SEX?
Firstly SEX IS GOOD! The bible says that God is the creator of all things. The book of Genesis, meaning the beginning or origins, states that Sex begun from God and it was His idea. Everything God creates is good. It was one of His gift to mankind. God's plan for sex was for procreation. It was the method whereby a husband and wife in relationship would expand God's image in history. As long as it remains in the marriage circle, that is between a husband and wife - it is legal before God's eyes and it is good!
Sex outside the marriage is illegal before His eyes and many teenagers are not taught this in church or youth groups and so they follow the trend of sleeping with others before marriage. Sex outside the marriage is SIN! Sin has consequences!
Sex before marriage is known as fornication and when you are married and you engaged in sexual intercourse with someone that is not your wife, it is call adultery. Both fornication and adultery are SIN! The consequences can result in broken homes, dysfunctional families and a generation seeking relief in drugs, gangs and sexual promiscuity in place of sincere love and intimacy.
Today both fornication and adultery is sweeping our nation and sadly is being tolerated in church! Although sex is a legitimate passion given to us by God, it was not suppose to be our Master! Although God created us with emotions, passions and pulsions, He never intended that they control our life. The Holy Spirit should be leading us by the Word of God.
Fornication and adultery has caused damages in life and society. Even Ministers are falling into this trap of the devil. Movies are playing their role in pushing the devil plans. Todays soap movies have fornication, adultery, cheating, lies, gossips and abuse all gathered in 30 minutes and it attracts people. They then base their life on what they see as they think it fashionable.

Matthew 5:28 "If a man looks on a woman to lust after her, he has committed adultery with her already in his heart."

Psalm 101:3 "I will set no unclean thing before my eyes."

Philippians 4:7, 8 "Keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus... Whatsover things are pure... if there be any virtue... think on these things."

These scriptures also shows us that Pornography is not right in the eyes of God! Satan has succeeded in twisting and perverting sex. He has taken what is good and right (sincere and faithful loving sex between a husband and wife) and replaced it with lust, pornography, adultery, rape, and homosexuality.

Being tempted is not sin (even Jesus was tempted) - but giving in to it, or seeking it out, surely is.
God is a deliverer! If you've yielded to sex sins...confess your sins and repent. God is faithful and just to forgive us all of our sins.
Your pass is past...go and sin no more...

In a time when Pentecostal Christians are occupying the Local Press and Radio as we fight against the 'Anti-conversion Law' that extremist Hindus wants voted in our Democratic Mauritius and as they state nonsense against us to give Christianity a bad image, God opens the door and allows me to discuss on MBC National Radio 'Live' on air and a half page positive write-up report on Samedi Plus newspaper for the book "The price of success."

The Radio Show on MBC was very positive. The Ministry door was open to discuss how to succeed base on Biblical principles. Diane was with me in the studio and we all felt that this discussion to break the spirit of inferiority and complex and to fight against evil influence was important and came at a right time.
We also discussed how to take a Quality decision as in the book.
The presenter herself was touched.

I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE OPEN DOORS...

Samedi Plus reporter was very supportive. A very gentle spirit young man came into my office and at once we started a friendship base on loyalty and trust. He also came to church the following Sunday.
I want to publicly thank Fernando Thomas for his article in Samedi Plus.

It's out of this world...

The Holy Spirit has opened my eyes on a topic that needs to be taught in the church - the instructions are out of this world. It is more precious than anything the world has to offer. The book of Proverbs says it is the principal thing...Get it, GET WISDOM! (Prov.4:7)

Anything you expect, you qualify to receive and experience!

The wisdom of God, wisdom from above or divine wisdom is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. (Jas 3:17 KJV)

This wisdom was generated and displayed in the life of Jesus and is available for all born-again believer.
This wisdom manifests a supernatural power and changes circumstances!

There are four types of wisdom according to scriptures. Only one is pure and produces peace and reflect God's character. It gives life. There is a bible wisdom solution to every issue of life. God's word is the answer book to life problems and challenges. That's the wisdom of God.

Wisdom makes you a better person! Wisdom brings positive change!

Wisdom from God will make you a better man, a better husband, a better father and give you a bright future...Wisdom from God will make you a better woman, a better wife, a better mother and a bright future.

Paul said: "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." 1 Cor. 2: 5-10.

This type of Wisdom gives answers and you qualify to receive if you're in love with God. He gives His wisdom to those who love Him. God is saying until I have your heart, I cannot show you my ways. You can access the ways of God when you fall in love with God. He cannot take your heart, you have to give it to him.
His ways are higher than your ways (Isa.55:9)...If you love Him, he will give you a higher standard of living.
Divine Wisdom is the heritage of all of God's children. Wisdom is your guarantee for victory in every battle of life.

I encourage you to join us as we embark under the leadership of the Holy Spirit to learn about wisdom. Get the DVD and CD once it becomes available...This will be a three part series teaching starting Sunday 10.10.2010 :-)

A year ago, new students enrolled for 1st year Certificate in Ministry, while others pursued for their Diploma in Ministry.
On Sunday 29th August 2010, these students were rewarded for their commitment and faithfulness as they sought to become mature in their Christian walk.

The 1st Year Theme "To cultivate intimacy with God through personal relationship" definately helped students in their relationship with God.
Guy Arekion speaking on behalf of all the thirty 1st Year graduates said:
" I have received many diplomas in my life and I was very proud about it. But today marks the best and highest degree of my life achievement and its all by the grace of God. My relation with God has improved a lot; the knowledge of God is a blessing for us. We can now propagate the word of God to every person we meet. I seize the occasion to make an appeal to all that are not a part of the Bible school, to join us. Your life will change. I thank Pastor James and his team for the job that they have done to enrich the course and give us a new spiritual dimension."

The Names of God – Jehovah Shalom

Jesus says that he manifested and declared God's name to men. God has always revealed Himself through His names. God's name reveals His nature, His character, His personality and His attributes. As we understand His name, we come closer to understanding God Himself. Jesus manifested different name of God while He was on the earth, all of which prove His goodness and desire for His people to receive the best in life.

Jehovah Shalom
Jehovah Shalom means "the Lord our peace". There are two types of peace we benefit from according to the Word. There is the peace with God and the peace of God.

“And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven." Colossians 1:20

Jesus is our peace. Through Him, we have obtained peace with God

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” Romans 5:1

Jesus broke the wall of partition that separated us from God. Through Him, we can come boldly to the throne of grace because of the power of His blood through His death and resurrection. He restored our relationship and fellowship with God. We are now at peace and can enjoy a progressive relationship with our Father.

Because of the peace with God, we can have the peace of God.

Philippians 4:6-7

The peace of God that surpasses all understanding brings a worry-free life. When you are facing the storms of life, because we now have peace with God, Jesus will stand on our behalf and manifest the peace of God in our lives. He will provide restoration, safety, rest and security for us and our future. Remember now that God is the author of peace not confusion

1Corinthians 14:33

When the disciples felt threatened and challenged for their lives in the midst of the storm, as they called on Jesus, He stood up, rebuked the storm and commanded peace and it was so. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. No matter the storms of life that you may be facing, if you call on Him, He will manifest the peace of God in your life.

One of the translations of Shalom from the Hebrew is nothing missing and nothing broken. With Jesus, you can rest assure that He will fill the gaps and heal the brokenness that you've experienced.

So, how can we experience this peace today?
"These thing have I spoken to you, that in me ye might have peace." John 16:33

Peace comes from the words that Jesus have spoken.

Instead of trying to read different scriptures everyday, take the area of your life that needs peace and find a scripture and make it work in your life. If you have a physical storm concerning your health, then find scriptures on healing. These words are seeds, so read them out loud, believe them, receive it for you and keep confessing until they bear fruit in your life. The same goes for financial storms or any challenges.

Don't quit until you see results. Remember the key to breakthrough is consistency.

A call to make a difference

I am believing God to be on TV this year! This is a vision and a mandate from God...to teach and make Mauritius a nation where the uncompromised Gospel is preached.

This is the reason why I have released two clips from years back and am the general secretary of the National Pentecostal Council with the objective to promote and propagate Christianity, its scripture, The Holy Bible, and teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, born of the virgin Mary. The NPC has also worked on a bill so that Pentecostalism is recognized before the law, as a religion.
The Word of God must be taught. His principle must be known. God wants obedience.

Diane with our guitarist Brian was also on Radio One with Linzy Bacbotte on Tuesday 20th April presenting the album and talking about Christ.

It was a great open door of faith and an opportunity to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Diane and the church band will be performing two songs at the Gospel Festival for the celebration of the Day of Pentecost 23rd May at Cite Mangalkhan in Floreal, Vacoas.

Three people water baptised...

Sunday 28th March, in the warm waters of Trou aux Biches seaside in the north of Mauritius, three people were water baptised.
What a great act of obedience!
Water baptism is a symbolic burial, by which the new Christian publicly declares they have died, and are now beginning a new life in Christ.

Baptize is the English form of a Greek word which means to immerse: to place something into something else.

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Rom 6:4

“Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.” Col 2:12

A young girl of 10 years old, a 17 year old teen and a mature married man stated they will live for Christ and allowed God, people and even the devil to witness their act of faith!

Water baptism outwardly demonstrates what has happened inwardly. Water baptism helps you to grasp the reality of the spiritual truth that the old "you" has died.

Financial Wisdom

“Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.” Proverbs 3:13-19

Wisdom produces financial blessings. Wisdom prolongs days and brings riches and honour. She brings peace and fulfillment and joy. So, we can see that wisdom that does not manifest discouragement (unhappiness) and lack.

Wisdom is the cure for confusion. (James 1:5). We are going to ask God for wisdom concerning all things that pertain to life.

Faith comes by hearing and understanding comes by the word.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7.

Financial wisdom

It is important as Christians that we discuss the issue of finance. Listen to what the scriptures say about money and we will find out that it is a vital part of life.

“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” 1Timothy 5:8

The word house means family. Here the word informs us that as believers who walk by faith we are to provide for our own and those of our own family. Failing to do so indicates that we denied the faith and are worse than an infidel. We have a responsibility before God and it is not to be taken lightly. Denying the faith indicates that you are not righteous, thus you are an infidel. THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH! The just are those that does what is right in God's sight.

You provide for your family spiritually, socially, physically, emotionally and financially.

“A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.” Ecclesiastes 10:19

The bible teaches that money answers all things. So, is money evil?

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1Tim. 6:10

Money is widely misunderstood in the Christian circle. The bible teaches that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Believers have lacked wisdom concerning money. Money has its importance and place but money can also become the opposite and opponent of God.

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”Matt. 6:24

Two things can become your masters according to Jesus, either God or money.

The word that we have to pay attention to here is love and hate. Remember that it is the love of money that is the root of all evil and Jesus said that God or money can become your master. How will you know who is your master? By finding out who controls your life!

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”2 Corinthians 2:11

Three primary weapons of the devil are

* Deception

* Temptation

* Accusation

Ignorance is a controlling tool of the devil. Ignorance can steal from you, destroy what yours and kill.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6

We were each born with God-given gifts, talents and abilities.

"A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men" (Prov. 18:16).

your God-given gift will make room for you!

Lets have a look at keywords from the verse above:

"Makes" simply means causes, implying that there is an action taking place.
The Word "and" means also, so this verse is saying two things. Number one, it's saying that your gift will make room for you. And, number two, it is saying that you'll be brought before great men because of your gift.
The word "great" here can mean a large number or also men of importance.

What is Love?

This is the bible definition of love. This is how love is in God's sight. Human love is emotional love whereas God's love is supernatural love.

“Love endures long and is patient and kind; Love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy; is not boastful or vain glorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited – arrogant and inflated with pride; it is not rude (unmannerly), and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it – pays no attention to a suffered wrong.
It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and it endures everything (without weakening).
Love never fails – never fades out or becoming obsolete or comes to an end.” - 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

“He who does not love has not become acquainted with God – does not and never did know Him; FOR GOD IS LOVE."

Love is a person.

God is love. He does not only have love as described in 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, but He is love Himself.

Therefore, we can replace 'God' with love in 1 Cor. 13:4-8, for they are one.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 can also read like this...it is a description of God;

The love of God is poured out in our hearts

“But the comforter (counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, strengthener, stand by), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name (in my place, to represent me and act on my behalf), He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall – will remind you of, bring to your remembrance – everything I have told you.” John 14:26

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things. It is evident that one of the first things that He will teach us is to love. That is to love God, love ourselves and love others as God does.
When we are born again, our old life has passed away and the Holy Spirit pours the love of God in our hearts giving birth to a new life in the fullness of God.

"… For God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:5

You have the capacity to love like God does; His love is in your heart.

Also remember that...
“In this (union and communion with Him) love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment – with assurance and boldness to face Him – because as He is so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17

So now we may boldly begin to declare...by replacing 'I' where love and God was described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8;

Confess these truths everyday and you will never be the same again.

The Holy Spirit will enable you to love beyond your natural ability and love as God loves.

7th day of praying and fasting...Outpouring, manifestation, anointing

Fasting amplifies consecration and dedication to God.
Our fasting and prayer for the next three days is aim at an increase of God's presence,outpouring, manifestation and anointing in our lives.
Praying in line with Isaiah 11:2, we want to see a manifestation of the seven facets of the anointing:

The Spirit of the Lord - the presence of God
The anointing of wisdom
The anointing of spiritual understanding
The anointing of counsel (insights)
The anointing of might (power)
The anointing of knowledge (revelation)
The anointing of the fear of the Lord (honour and respect to God)

Remember:

The anointing is a yoke destroying, burden removing power of God. (Isaiah 10:27)

Pray that God will use you and the flow of the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:6-11) will be evident in our lives.
The Holy Spirit can manifest any one of these 9 gifts through any believer anytime that He will want to do so. We want to be ready!
The gifts are all supernatural, miraculous manifestations direct from the Holy Spirit Himself.
The gifts are in three parts;

Gifts of revelation

The Word of Knowledge
The Word of Wisdom
The Discerning of Spirits

Gifts of utterance

The Gift of Prophecy
Different Kinds of Tongues
The Interpretation of Tongues

Gifts of power

The Gift of Faith
The Gifts of Healings
The Working of Miracles

Also, declare Colossians 1:9
"For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;"
and...
Ephesians 1:17-19
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the Saints.
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe according to the working of his mighty power."

La mo pe loue is a No1 Gospel Hit on nuradio

Today 'La mo pe loue', the first song from our album "I will dwell" was voted No1 on http://www.nuradio.org/.

This song was birthed when I came out of the bathroom shower praising God. I called Diane and Bryan together and informed them that i felt inspired by the Holy Spirit to pen a song.

Bryan, our church guitarist, stroke some notes and we concluded with this sega beat song.

We thank you for your support!

God is working in our lives, church and country. The CD is a tool of evangelism and it has helped us reach out to more people.

We believe that as soon as the video clip "I will dwell" will be released, it will have a nationwide impact and help people know about God's love and the importance of praise and worship.

Prayer and Fasting 4th - 6th day - Praying for those in authority.

4th day of our 21 days of prayer and fasting

Remember, fasting is a choice for God and against the flesh!

Praying for our those in authority...

1 Tim. 2:1-3

We are told to pray for our leaders and our obedience to this scripture determines the types of life we live - ones filled with peace or ones filled with drama and troubles.

Presidents and Prime Ministers are those in authority but also includes Ministers of the Gospel, Teachers and Parents. They all need breakthrough prayers.

Wisdom is the principal thing (Prov 4:7).
Through wisdom is an house builded... (Prov. 24:3-6).
A house can refer to the Government house, the home and the church representing the house of God.
We need to pray that our leaders have the Wisdom of God to direct and do things in line with the Word of God. Our fasting and prayers releases faith filled words and causes the will of God to be done on the earth.

Bow your heart and not just your head - 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Pray and believe that God will turn the heart of our leaders and cause them to be righteous.
To intercede is to 'entreat favor for or petition God on behalf of another'.
Fasting and intercession produces spiritual power that supercedes any evil influence that a person or place may be bound with.This is a mighty weapon to pull down every stronghold assailing our country including demonically influenced rulings and laws.
Never forget that he kingdom of darkness is inferior to the kingdom of light!

So, fast and pray with us for the wisdom of God, direction from above and protection of our leaders.
Pray in line with these scriptures;
(2 Tim.2:15 - Col.1: 9-14 - Titus 2:6-8 - 1 Tim. 4:14 - 2 Tim. 4:17 - 1 Tim.2:1-3 - 2 Chron. 7:14)

God is commited to the salvation of families.

The family of Cornelius was visited by God through the ministry of Peter (Acts 10:24-25) .

We are believing God for 20 Homecare groups in 2010.

Praise God, we are at the end of the month of February and we already have 10 homecare groups.

We are targeting cities and villages...

So strategically we are praying for families.

We are interceding for the salvation of the souls of every member of the family.

Intercede to destroy the work of the devil in territories and households.

We are not giving up on any families.
