"A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men"

We were each born with God-given gifts, talents and abilities.
"A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men" (Prov. 18:16).
your God-given gift will make room for you!

Lets have a look at keywords from the verse above:
  • "Makes" simply means causes, implying that there is an action taking place.
  • The Word "and" means also, so this verse is saying two things. Number one, it's saying that your gift will make room for you. And, number two, it is saying that you'll be brought before great men because of your gift.
  • The word "great" here can mean a large number or also men of importance.
"A man's present will broaden, cause expansion, or create opportunity for him. And, on top of all that, a man's present will bring him before great men." Dr. Keith Butler

"It is this gift that will enable you to fulfill your vision." Dr. Myles Munroe

Everyone Has Value…and your gift is to do what God anointed you to and this will bring support for you; your gift will make room (increase, substance, wealth) for you and bring you before great men.
Your gift has a divine connection. God has given you special Gifts and Abilities like no one else and only you can fill the place that God has for you.

"If you want to be great, you become a servant." Dr Robb Thompson

I was priviledge to meet some great people in the world...the former Prime Minister and actual President of Mauritius, SIR ANEEROOD JUGNAUTH. The honourable Mr. PAUL BERENGER. The honourable Mr. Etienne Sinatambou. Some Tottenham Hotspurs FC (Spurs) players - Jermain Defoe and Dr Theo Wolmarans. The lists and photos are longer...including Dr. Robb Thompson, Dr. Jerry Savelle, Dr. Keith Butler, The honourable Mr. Paul Berenger, The honourable Mr Xavier Luc Duval, French actor and singer Patrick Bruel...I was also priviledge to meet SIR GAETAN DUVAL.
When God bless us, He gives us influence. We need to be a voice and speak the Word...so God bless YOU!

What is Love?

This is the bible definition of love. This is how love is in God's sight. Human love is emotional love whereas God's love is supernatural love.

“Love endures long and is patient and kind; Love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy; is not boastful or vain glorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited – arrogant and inflated with pride; it is not rude (unmannerly), and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it – pays no attention to a suffered wrong.
It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and it endures everything (without weakening).
Love never fails – never fades out or becoming obsolete or comes to an end.” - 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

“He who does not love has not become acquainted with God – does not and never did know Him; FOR GOD IS LOVE."
Love is a person.

God is love. He does not only have love as described in 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, but He is love Himself.

Therefore, we can replace 'God' with love in 1 Cor. 13:4-8, for they are one.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 can also read like this...it is a description of God;
God endures long and is patient and kind; God never is envious nor boils over with jealousy; is not boastful or vain glorious, does not display itself haughtily.
He is not conceited – arrogant and inflated with pride; He is not rude (unmannerly), and does not act unbecomingly. God does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for He is not self-seeking; He is not touchy or fretful or resentful; He takes no account of the evil done to Him – pays no attention to a suffered wrong. He does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
God bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, His hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and He endures everything (without weakening).
God never fails – never fades out or becoming obsolete or comes to an end.”

The love of God is poured out in our hearts
“But the comforter (counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, strengthener, stand by), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name (in my place, to represent me and act on my behalf), He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall – will remind you of, bring to your remembrance – everything I have told you.” John 14:26

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things. It is evident that one of the first things that He will teach us is to love. That is to love God, love ourselves and love others as God does.
When we are born again, our old life has passed away and the Holy Spirit pours the love of God in our hearts giving birth to a new life in the fullness of God.

"… For God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:5

You have the capacity to love like God does; His love is in your heart.
Also remember that...
“In this (union and communion with Him) love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment – with assurance and boldness to face Him – because as He is so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17

So now we may boldly begin to declare...by replacing 'I' where love and God was described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8;

I endure long and am patient and kind; I never am envious nor boils over with jealousy; am not boastful or vain glorious, do not display itself haughtily.
I am not conceited – arrogant and inflated with pride; I am not rude (unmannerly), and do not act unbecomingly. I do not insist on its own rights or its own way, for I am not self-seeking; I am not touchy or fretful or resentful; I take no account of the evil done to me – pays no attention to a suffered wrong.
I do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoice when right and truth prevail.
I bear up under anything and everything that comes, am ever ready to believe the best of every person, my hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and I endure everything (without weakening).
I never fail – never fade out or becoming obsolete or come to an end.”

Confess these truths everyday and you will never be the same again.

The Holy Spirit will enable you to love beyond your natural ability and love as God loves.
